A practice of your own
I recently noticed with particular intensity that the more content from other people I watch/read/consume, the less clear my state of being is. The less input I get from others, the clearer my pathway and the next decision are.
It is easy to outsource your own judgment to others for fear of having to listen to yourself fully and make decisions based on your own first-principle realizations. Getting input from others, whether physically or via virtual content, is a way to clutter consciousness with soothing additional garbage that tends to generate fear-based, restrictive, small decision-making.
The unconscious remains screaming with its mouth taped. Input overwhelm also creates a feeling of being pulled in many directions at once, as if ten people were tugging on your limbs simultaneously while voicing all their claims and arguments to sway you to their side.
It seems to me that this is all nonsense, yet it remains so prominent in my life and in many others', I notice. The way out is the process of re-recognizing the center, integrating both unconscious and conscious aspects, and dropping ego-identification (mind chatter, the small self, limiting beliefs, voices in the head from others' opinions) in favor of a sense of expansive sincerity. This sincerity comes directly from you and is free of shame, guilt, fear, and other restrictions in the natural course of living.
This sincerity also has the advantage of fostering a deep sense of agency for your own decisions. Naturally knowing what to do and naturally finding the courage, energy, and conviction to do it. Because there is nothing else but that truth that is centered, flowing, fluid, relaxed, joyful.
An important practical step, I notice, is to significantly limit being affected and swayed by other people's opinions and be busy with being out in the real world doing things, exploring, experimenting, experiencing firsthand and regaining contact with that which is always there within you.
