It doesn’t have to be like that

There can be a tendency to do the same things repeatedly out of compulsion, because what else to do. Preparing breakfast always in the same way at the same time each day is necessary, and without it, what’s left of the sought-after sense of control?

Everything is left; there is everything left in a seeming lack of control. Control is often used as a mechanism to avoid certain emotions and states that underly one’s existence. Yet, avoiding something often amplifies its yearn for consideration.

It doesn’t have to be like that. You don’t have to cling to your past and present way of living just because it’s all you know. Quite the opposite. You don’t know, and in that not knowing there is a certain characteristic of space and relaxation that open up the possibility of continuous plasticity, renewal, and discoveries.

Experimentation is always available, and it is your choice to engage in play.
