Great CEO Notion Template - A System for Conscious Leaders

This blog post and the Notion system/template are inspired by The Great CEO Within by Matt Mochary. You can read more about it here. My goal with this Notion system is to provide a central place for CEOs (especially startup CEOs) to manage their entire company. You can think of this as the hub of your central operations.

Greatness can be found within yourself. You need to dig deep into your psyche, past experiences, and future ambitions to fully embrace the “CEO within”. The strength and psychological power within you are much greater than you may consider if you consciously internalize and decide to embody the 15 commitments of conscious leadership. Are you deciding to be above or below the line? Every CEO—and every leader for that matter—may find value in asking such a simple yet profound query at the beginning of their day. If you don’t understand that question yet, you can read its explanation here.

Matt Mochary provides actionable, leverage-based tools to lead and manage an organization most effectively in his book The Great CEO Within. From GTD to Areas of Responsibility, there are numerous tools you can add to your CEO mindset in order to live a more examined leadership existence. I have developed a comprehensive Notion system for the Great CEO Within. It is addressed to every CEO, leader, executive, entrepreneur who intends to lead their organization with a high degree of attention, operationalization, and conscious leadership.

The Great CEO Within Notion template is composed of the following pieces:

  1. OKRs

  2. GTD System

  3. Meeting Agendas

  4. Issue Inventory

  5. Decision Making Process

  6. Wiki and Areas of Responsibility

  7. Five Minute Journal

  8. Workout Manager

  9. Weekly Reflection and Planning

The objective of this Notion template for CEOs is that there is no objective. You may find this system useful because it covers every business area: from the high-level strategy (OKRs) to the daily action items and meetings (GTD and Meeting Agendas). It allows you to tackle important decisions systematically, and may also aid you in becoming a more conscious leader through weekly reflection sessions.

Below you can find a video explanation of every component and this Notion system for CEOs and leaders.
